History

RTR Technologies, LLC (RTR) is a technical services firm, organized in Maryland, July 2003. The company’s founders, Randy Rippin, Reed Rippin, and Earl Thies, are experienced managers and technical experts in the field of operations research. The principals have over 120 combined years of experience in the industry and have worked together in business for approximately 25 years. Since inception, RTR has consistently grown its business and is on the leading edge of performing data analysis, critical tasks, and proprietary technical solutions for its customer base.

Prior to forming RTR Technologies in 2003, the three principals previously launched, owned, and successfully operated a similar business in Harford County, Maryland for a period of 5 years.

The founders’ roots and core competencies can be traced to 1989 where they served in technical and management lead positions for small and medium sized operations research firms. In 1991 the founders were successful in capturing an Immigration and Naturalization Services contract, which is now under the auspices of Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to develop and support the Workforce Analysis Modeling system. The successful support of the initial project and the customer proved the basis for a successful, ongoing relationship with the Federal Government.
