RTR employees' Susan and Luke Thies successfully summited and planted the “RTR Flag” atop Mount Kilimanjaro on July 15^th, 2011. The highest peak in Africa is located in northeastern Tanzania and stands at 5,895 meters or 19,341 feet above sea level.  Susan and Luke took the 9-day Lemosho-Western Breach route and experienced normal altitude-related health issues.

With Kilimanjaro checked off the list, the following peaks are still up for grabs! (the Seven Summits Challenge refers to successfully summiting the highest peak on each of the seven continents).
