US-VISIT Publishes Results of RTR Technologies’ 10 Print Study
Posted by Patty Rippin
The Federal Register recently published results of a study for the new 10-Print process for collecting biometrics at airports. RTR Technologies LLC supported US-VISIT with the publication of a Federal Registrar notice on the 10-Print process. US-VISIT was mandated by Congress to collect 10 fingerprints of all arriving aliens at U.S. ports of entry instead of 2 fingerprints. Using data collected from ports-of-entry over a 12 month period, RTR determined the average biometric collection time of the new 10-Print process compared to the former 2-print process.
The Federal Register is the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents.
